With the premiere date for Silver Spring Inquiries drawing near I wanted to take a moment to outline exactly what Silver Spring Inquiries is and how you can listen and support the project. What is Silver Spring Inquiries?
Silver Spring Inquiries is a new generation of audio drama produced in Silver Spring, MD. The project was conceived as a way to demonstrate the talented artists in the region in hopes of generating more local productions and building our arts and entertainment community. With very few exceptions, all of the talent behind this project are local to the Silver Spring region. Without exception all of our creative partners are extremely talented and dedicated a great deal of time and passion to this project.
What makes Silver Spring Inquiries unique compared to other audio dramas?
As a group we set out to create a new style of audio drama that was not restricted by the medium and could create a dynamic narrative experience through audio and the listener's imagination.
It became our mission to tell an expansive first story that introduced audiences to our characters and fictional version of Silver Spring, while also being digestible and easy to enjoy in both multiple installments or a single sitting.
How many episodes are in season one of Silver Spring Inquiries?
There are 10 episodes in season one. The episodes range from about 10 to 15 minutes in length with a double-sized finale. This format aligns with our goal to make each episode very digestible so that you can listen to an episode or two during a walk or commute, or listen to the entire season within a 2 hour time investment.
How can I listen to Silver Spring Inquiries?
The first two episodes debut on November 12th, 2016 with the rest of the episodes releasing in the weeks following. Each episode will premiere on iTunes and other podcasting services as well as in person listening parties for those local to Silver Spring. We will post the details for the episode premieres both here on the website and on our Facebook page.
Following the premiere of the show on November 12th, listeners will be able to obtain a digital copy of all of season one of the show on our Patreon Page. Upon purchasing the Season One reward on Patreon you will receive all of the season one episodes in a bonus binge cut of the show for those who want to listen to multiple episodes in a single sitting.
